2021 Impact Report

A few of our 2021 highlights include:

  • Completing construction and beginning lease-up of Tahanan Supportive Housing at 833 Bryant Street (read Heather Knight’s takeaways from meeting residents in the Chronicle)
  • Closing our first-ever permanent loan (to Mission Housing for the 80-unit Apollo Hotel, an SRO where all residents previously experienced homelessness)
  • Working with the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development, Department of Public Health, & Conard House to get the first Cooperative Living Opportunities for Mental Health (CLMH) program projects over the finish line (Mayor Breed’s press release here)
  • Continuing our antidisplacement lending work through projects like 168 Sickles (a 12-unit Small Sites acquisition by SFHDC & MEDA) and 1005 Powell (a 64-unit SRO preserved by Chinatown CDC)
