Anagha Dandekar Clifford

Anagha Dandekar Clifford serves as Deputy Campus Counsel and Chief Adviser for UCSF Resiliency Strategy, responsible for advising the campus community across a wide range of substantive legal and policy areas, negotiating complex multiparty transactions, leading an institution-wide committee focused on resiliency, and providing strategic advice and planning to leadership on the entire range of UCSF initiatives affecting long-term institutional health and resiliency.
Previously, Anagha spent six years as principal counsel in the University of California Office of the President, with a special focus on complex public/private partnership projects. Prior to that Anagha was a Land Use and Real Estate Partner at Wendel Rosen in Oakland where she negotiated business and real estate transactions and navigated development projects through the entitlement process, while creating strategies and building relationships to obtain support and approval for complex projects. She remains committed to her local community and engaged in civic efforts in Oakland and the Bay Area.
